It looks like Jadon Sancho is beginning to find his feet at Manchester United after he opened his Premier League account during the big game at Chelsea over the weekend. The England international scored the opener as Manchester United and Chelsea shared the points at the end of regulation time.
Sancho didn’t make the best of starts to his Manchester United career, but he has benefited from the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager. Since the exit of the Norwegian tactician, the Manchester City Academygraduate has scored in each of the two games played. The England national team winger scored his first goal in a Manchester United shirt against Villarreal as the Red Devils sealed top spot in Group F as far as Champions League football is concerned.
Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo scored the first goal of the Villarreal game in the final quarter before Sancho wrapped up an impressive 2-0 away victory with the second goal.
English winger Sancho made it two goals in as many games when he pounced on an error from Chelsea midfielder Jorginho to give Manchester United the lead on 50 minutes after the two teams failed to score any goal in the first half of the Premier League clash. Jorginho made amends for his mistake when he scored from the penalty spot on 69 minutes after central referee Anthony Taylor awarded a spot kick for a foul on Chelsea centre back Thiago Silva. Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka was the culprit for the penalty as Chelsea rescued a 1-1 draw to go one point clear at the top of the Premier League table. With the result, Manchester United maintained their unbeaten league run against Chelsea which is now up to eight. The Red Devils have won three and drawn five of their last eight league matches with Chelsea.
