To the Community of Chelsea and our Valued Art Patrons:
We have pursued many angles that would enable us to continue to keep the Chelsea Gallery a viable and vibrant business. It is with deep regret and misfortune that we are informing you that the Gallery will be closing on December 31, 2009.
We appreciate your support and dedication over the years. There is never a good time to share this message, but we must move forward and hope that the relationships that we have developed over the years will continue.
We are even more disheartened due to the gap that we know will be left on Main Street, hopefully not for long, and are most appreciative of the significant contribution our local Artists have made to the community.
We appreciate your support and patronage.
Kind regards,
Gary & Doris Galvin & Jean Lash

Thank you, thank you , thank you! Your gallery offered beautiful work and your friendliness and committment to Chelsea is remarkable. New doors open when one is closed. The best to you both.
Dear Gary and Doris,
I never stopped bragging about The Chelsea Gallery and what a wonderful place and you two straight out of Central casting for perfect Gallery owners.
You are my friends forever,

Gary and Doris and crew…
yes, a very sad empty void in downtown Chelsea. I hope 20X brings bigger and brighter successes in whatever you get into. You’ll be missed!

Gary, Doris & Jean,
I am so very sorry to hear this, and I certainly understand. Thank you for everything you brought to the Chelsea Community! I could NOT have asked for or received better neighbors, mentors, and friends!!!
