Madeleine Vallier, Watercolor

Madeleine was born in Paris, France and was heavily influenced by her visits to the Louvre, as well as other museums and art galleries. While she has worked in many mediums, her focus has been watercolors. Madeleine’s art reflects the loose, flowering quality that only watercolor can give; a color, a shape, a detail that triggers the beginning of a painting. Her work has been exhibited in various shows and exhibitions where she has received awards, including Michigan Fine Art Exhibition in Birmingham, Michigan, Michigan Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition, and the Ann Arbor Women Artist juried shows. Madeleine is a member of the Chelsea Painters, Michigan Watercolor Society and the Ann Arbor Women Artists.
